I've booked a fortnight off and were goign to fly but am now tempted to stay in Britain and splurge on somewhere nice. Think we would beed a pool in case the weather is foul, and something to occupy a toddler would be great.
Thank you!

We've recently been here and also here

Both were lovely, had indoor pools and plenty of stuff for toddlers to do.

We stayed here when ds was a baby. Not luxurious but good facilities, well located and plenty of room outside.

We stayed at Broomhill Manor in May, and are going back in October as it was so nice.

Indoor pool, nice play room, and they do pony rides for toddlers. Loads of play equipment outside inc a big trampoline

They look lovely. I love the idea of Devon or Cornwall. Esp Broomhill Manor. Has anyone been
here _ I like the idea of a resutarant on site!

[swoon] at the Rose Vine

£6 for a scone though
or £1 for a Petit Filou

mind you I suppose that's why you feed the kids upstairs and go down for dinenr once they're asleep - I bet it's small enough that the baby alarm would work

I'm soo tempted by Rosevine but a bit at the price. My fear is that other places may be gloomy out of season, whereas Rosevine looks like it will be beautiful even in a gale. And theres a pool, which means our toddler will swim and crash out each evening. We arent having a summer holiday this year and so wonder if it would be okay to splruge

Have you looked at Lower Mill Estate in the Cotswolds? Has an indoor pool and kids playgound and trampoline, plus Spa treatments for Mums. There is no onsite restaurant but lots of child friendly places to eat in the local area and there is a local babysitting agency.
A few of the houses are rented out by the owners and have lots of equipment for babies and toddlers.
I rent out a property there (if I am allowed to mention it!) and still have some October dates available. Please take a look here
