hostel halls in edinburgh...?????

i'm travelling to edinburgh next month with my dd 16months & dh. planning to book a room in hostel halls are they good place to stay with a toddler coz i've found them much cheaper than the hotels. please could anybody advise me on this have anybody stayed in these hostel halls??

Which hostel halls in Edinburgh do you mean? I googled and am uncertain.

Generally I wouldn't think a hostel is an ideal place for a 16 mo toddler, most of them are geared to solo/adult travellers. You're not going to find travel cots etc available, how much luggage are you planning on hauling around?

I haven't stayed in any but here is a list of ones that seem to have family rooms - the SYA one looks quite modern

its euro hostel halls on cowgate. they lease out hostel rooms in summer when the stuents r off on holidays. is there anyone who stayed in these hostel halls?

Here are some reviews - but none of them travelled with a toddler. However, they say the staff are very friendly, maybe you could phone and ask them if it'd suit your circumstances?

thanks ladies but i've changed my mind coz i've come to know there r no en-suite with the rooms provided. its really a shame i dropped the idea.i've booked in a close by to city centre hotel its quite cheap.
