Anyone ever gone to any of the events at Riverford Farm?

Not sure if I should put this here or in Food. We get a Riverford veg box and their website advertises various events - Pick and Cook days for children, tractor tours etc. They're quite expensive, so wondered if anyone had been?

Utterly bloody fantastic. We did the self-guided tour of the farm (bimbled up and down a few fields basically) and then lunch. Definitely go. The lunch is superb. Really tasty and locally sources and lush; Gordon Ramsay even gave them a glowing write-up. They served three different puddings, all fab, and you could eat all of them one after another, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Very kid-friendly. Gorgeous part of the world too.

Oh that's interesting about River Cottage - I'm quite keen to go to one of their events but DH is cynical and thinks it's all too much of a money-spinning exercise for old Hugh .
