Restaurants in Poole

Has anyone got any suggestions of a good restaurant in Poole for my parents Golden wedding anniversary in the summer - I want to take them out for lunch and invite about 15 family. Obviously good food importnat but not too fancy and though I prepared to splash out a bit obviously not fantastically expensive. Am an old Poole girl myself but everything has changed so much since I lived there 20 years ago!!!. Thanks for any help.

Mansion House?

Mansion House is no more - it is now part of the Hotel du Vin chain.

It is lovely though and although I haven't eaten in the Poole one yet, I have always found the brasseries in other hotels in the chain very good.
