We're looking for good quality cottage accommodation in the West Country, not too far from the coast, with an indoor pool, play areas etc. and this place seems to fit the bill

Has anyone been ? Any comments ?

Thanks

Sorry not been there but bumping for you.

We went here last year and are going again this year. It was really nice and would def recommend it. I think it's in the review section on mumsnet too

Thanks Phoenix.

It does look really good but dh is really keen to have an indoor pool in case of bad weather.

I might see if I can convince him again though because I've only heard good things about it on here (and I know what a discerning bunch you are )

We went in Sept so you really wouldn't think it was hot enough for the outdoor pool but they kept it at a very high temp, it was like getting in the bath . I think we even stayed in one day when it had a little rain shower

This is from the Bosinver blog from Sept

"Surprisingly the swimming pool has had a great deal of use - we have had it running at 30 degrees and some families have stayed in for hours, even in the rain as it was so warm."

That's useful thanks. We're planning on going end of July so you would hope its warm enough, wouldn't you ?

It does look really good...

We went 4 years ago in July, it was camping though not in a cottage. I do not think I have seen many places as beautiful and breath taking as Cornwall, fabulous holiday!

No - heavily pregnant and hot is not a good combination. Can we compromise on warmish and dry ?!

We are ttc'ing DC2 at the moment and I'm "hoping" it takes a couple of months. I was mahoosive last time and want to avoid being too pg in summer if possible

we went to bude last yr with a 6yr old and a 5 yr old and it was the most boring holiday ever there's nothing there to do with kids unless you want to spend a fortune taking them to theme park places everyday

Freaky - just published two reviews for this place (we're a bit, ahem, behind with them at the moment). Looks lush, btw. See here for more info www.mumsnet.com/Reviews/TravelUkIreland/1101-1101
