We live in a lovely part of London in a gated community. We have a 5 bed flat with private garden and communal gardens which include tennis courts and a children's playground. We have recently cottoned on to the idea of house swapping and have joined some house swap websites.

However, what we really want is to swap with a family with similar aged children and it's hard to find them on those websites. We have dd 3.5, dd 19mo and ds 4 mo. The girls rooms are a bit girly and so are some of the toys / dressing up box etc. We have all the baby kit available too.

We would love to spend a week / weekend away in country or by the sea. Anyone keen?

Nottingham would be no good to you I take it? What a shame, I'd love to swap!

I wouldn't rule out nottingham for a weekend. Sell it to me. What could we do with the kids?

ooh, lots round here - The Castle, Tales of Robin Hood, Sherwood Forest. Lots of general Robin Hood stuff (bit rubbish some of it, but the kids will like). Also close to/handy for Alton Towers and places like that. Lots of nice country parks, good shopping and restaurants, child friendly play areas (indoor and outdoor). Lotsa nice old buildings!

There are places you should avoid, buy hey I bet there are in London too!
