I am going next wk for first time! Are there highchairs in the lodges or do you have to book them?

think it depends on the type of accom that you have booked

Ime most of the lodges (apart from the small apartments) have a highchair and a cot. If you ring them you will usually get to speak to a human quite easily (customer service is quite good)

Have a fab time.

Thanks! It's a woodland lodge. I don't think we'll need the cot. We're taking a bed guard for our toddler and hope she can cope with the single bed!

yes IVe stayed in all types and they have cots, and highchairs - they are usually in a cupboard as you enter the villa.

With regards to a bedguard good idea I always take mine but 9 times out of 10 our 3 yr old comes in to our room in the big double bed.

We are going to sherwood forest in Feb - cant wait - its such a relaxing break - enjoy!

Which CP are you going to? The reason is Whinfell ones usually have them already out in the dining room and sometimes the cot too as they do not have the huge cupboard that Sherwood and Elveden have (can't comment on Longleat it is the only one I haven't been to)

The cupboard is in the hall and is massive so you can stash your pram in there all the bags you empty out when you unpack.

Woodland lodges are lovely, you might want to take some chalk as they always seem to be teeny pieces left in the bowl. There is a great big blackboard in case you didn't know.
