A 3 year old, my old gang from Uni and a boat on the Broads for 3 days...I'd be crazy, right?

I have a horrible feeling you're right. And/or that you wouldn't enjoy it properly.

It would be hell. Hell for you, hell for them, hell for your three year old. Don't consider it.

Agree - a disaster in the making. And those boats are quite cramped - no space for toys and kids' stuff without intruding into everyone else's space. I'd do it without the childless friends like a shot, though.

No! Kids need to run around! Not unless it's a v v big boat.

just imagine the mornings - they want to sleep off their hangovers in peace, your 3 yr old wants to play from 6.30 even though he/she is grouchy from being kept awake the night before, and everyone in the same cabin... naaaah!

Leave the 3 year-old with somone else for a night or two. You'll have a much better time, whatever you do, boat or not.

depends on th eadults.
we did the childless uni friends thing for four days with a 2.5 year old. no boat though. . everyone was absolutely fantastic with him. it just depends on the crowd.
