Family restaurants in Portsmouth

We're off to the Isle of Wight on holiday soon and are having a night in Portsmouth first. We're staying by spinnaker tower.

I'm looking for a family friendly restaurant in the area. Does anyone have any recommendations. It will be Father's Day so probably best to book in advance.

Somewhere likely to have a range of kids dairy free options a must. The restaurant in our hotel doesn't have its kids menu online and so am unwilling to book there unless I know there's something DS can and will eat.

You’re right on top of Gunwharf Quays, there are loads of restaurants there. Big chains like Frankie & Benny’s, Carluccio’s, Las Iguanas, Loch Fyne, Five Guys, Cosy Club…

That's good to know. DH has final choice as it's Father's Day :)

The Old Customs House has a good children’s menu and on the website you can filter according to dietary need www.theoldcustomshouse.com/food/childrens-menu
