Looking for a little get away for 2 adults a toddler (2) and our dog. Would ideally like something like centre parcs (checked and all full until December). Struggling to find anywhere with activities for kids but walks we can do with the dog too.

Whitbarrow holiday village in Cumbria has a swimming pool, restaurant, play area, big chess etc onsite but also drivable to Cumbrian walks, Keswick, lake trips etc?

Have you tried Ribby Hall they have cottages.

Usually if you try outside main school holidays you should have more success.

You mean in north England? Have a look at Forest holidays, they have sites in central Scotland too.

White cross bay site on the shores of Windermere has a range of caravans and chalets and I think some have hot tubs.
Forest holidays cabins are lovely and some have a hot tub but there's not much in the way of activities like there is at centre parks (personally I think that's a bonus)
