Haven this weekend

I'm not sure whether to post this in the CV section or not but it's to do with travel so felt here was better.

We are due to go to a Haven Park this weekend for 3 nights and my son has been sent home from nursery today and our local health board have advised he is to self isolate for 7 days. I've contacted Haven who have said we can amend until a later date this season but all the dates this year are significantly more expensive and in addition to the extra amount they are charging a £20 admin fee.

I didn't take out any additional insurance with the park as it's fairly close to our house in the grand scheme of things so didnt envisage any issues!

Should Haven be offering refunds?

TIA

If they are anything like Hoseasons, it’s in their t+c’s that they aren’t liable in the case of mass disease.
Do you have annual travel insurance with your bank account by any chance?
I’m booked with hoseasons for May half term, can’t see a chance in hell they will be open by then and if no refund or insurance payout is forthcoming then I’m £2500 down as it’s a 4 bed lodge for 4 adults and 3 kids. I can’t just rearrange dates for next year because it’s a complicated situation due to my DD’s 2 step children who live in a different county and school hols don’t always match up, my DD is a teacher.

There is absolutely no way they will be open over the weekend.
Just wait.
