I'm looking for festival inspiration for this year. Last year did our first one, Beautiful Days and loved it. Would go again but clashes with our summer holiday this year. I'd love something with a similar feel/size, anytime apart from August and first couple of weeks in September and ideally within a couple of hours drive of Devon/Cornwall border but would travel further if it was the perfect line up!

Any ideas? No children so doesn't need to be particularly family friendly.

Larmer Tree Festival is from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19st July this year. The music is eclectic. There are six stages, plus a comedy club, loads of free workshops, street theatre, carnival and more. It’s set in Larmer Tree Gardens which is beautiful and has resident peacocks and macaws! The festival generally has a lovely chilled atmosphere, with free showers and well serviced toilets.

Some idea of your perfect line up would be helpful!

Shindig Festival in Devon is supposed to be good - it's on the bank holiday weekend at the end of May. Norman Jay is headlining one of the days.

Another vote for Larmer tree, it’s very family friendly and not too big. Also look at wild festival. I’m thinking of booking beautiful days as we always seem to drive past it on the way down to Cornwall but have never been, they have a pretty good line up this year too.
