The Milky Way Adventure Park is a fun half day out and the Hidden Valley Discovery Park is great too.

If you don't mind a little drive then watermouth castle on north devon coast is quite good. Has a section with victorian penny arcade machines - you swop real money for tokens to use. Has inside and outside stuff to do. We were staying near bude a couple of weeks ago and did bude beach for a couple of afternoons, tintagel one day (pre booked online for the bridge, parked in the village, took packed lunch and got the landrover taxi back up the hill), and the big sheep. Our dc are 5 & 7 and enjoyed all of it.

Bodmin Railway for a steam train journey, you can get off along the route. Also Bodmin Jail for a spooky indoor day.

We did milky way on wet day. It was ok, and it cleared up in the afternoon for the birds if prey which were great.

We were last in Bude 5 years ago (it was our regular holiday place for when our children were young) and there was an amusement arcade in the town at Crooklets Beach.

The Milky Way is up that way. I’ve never been but I’ve heard it’s okay.

You also have Trethorne and Dingles fairground (really enjoyed this one and it had old fashioned arcade games). It’s all undercover too. Look it up.

I think the nearest arcades are probably which is probably a bit of a trek from

Tintagel castle?

Clovelly is nice on a dry day if you are all good at steepish walks, wear sturdy shoes! Nice little shops as you walk down and pub/restaurants and beach at the bottom. You can pay to get the Land Rover back up the hill, though it is £2.50 per person.Widemouth beach great for surfing/big waves with nice beach side cafés etc. It's a lovely coastal road out of Bude with stunning views.Have a great time x
