It would have to be the family bike riding, we're a family of cycling nuts, but with the chance of slopping off to the spa, pony rides, cave exploring and kayaking, I doubt we'd spend every day on the bikes.

Just getting outside, exploring the woodland. DC adores the outdoors and would be into everything!

Just being outdoors a lot, running around, riding bikes, and looking for wildlife would make my kids very happy.

Hi we would love to try the one in Scotland - those views look amazing - I dream of gulping in big gasps of fresh air, and just been out in nature (corny as it sounds!)
Stunning venues!

Ah I've been looking at Forest Holidays for a while! I love the idea of relaxing in a hot tub surrounded by a beautiful setting of trees and greenery! We would enjoy going for family bike rides and spending lots of time outdoors.

The relaxation that comes with being surrounded by nature, watching the wildlife and going for walks. Going back to basics and having proper family time really, rather than staring at screens all day or all off in different directions doing things alone

The chance to hide away from everyone and to be able just to think, be still and breath deeply is more than a bucket list tick

Walking in the fresh air, relaxing with family, feeling at peace in the trees, and maybe some stargazing!

The hot tubs look amazing and hopefully those woodland walks would tire DDs out so DH and I could enjoy them Smile

Staying in a treehouse would be fantastic. I have built treehouses in my younger days but never to the standard of "Golden Oak Treehouse" which is something my whole family would enjoy!

The treehouses would be a memory to last a lifetime. The scenery and chance to spend some nice time together away from screens sounds great.

I think that the magic of tree houses would blow DD away and I regularly fantasise about sitting in a hot tub outside. Did it once years ago and it was heaven!

Just being able to hide away from real life. Something about being surrounded by nature in the peace and quiet feels like a form of magic.

Looking at the Forest Holidays website has just induced a feeling of calm on a busy rush hour commute. I think the best thing about a holiday like that is the sheer sense of getting away from it all... retiring to the cabin dirty and aching from a day exploring and ready to relax. I love the effect nature has on us as family and seeing the kids happy. Also a cabin in the woods is an adventure in itself whatever the weather! Returns to daydream of Forest Holiday

Having a chance to spend some special time together as a family, in a beautiful setting, away from everything. Bike rides and exploring in the day and relaxing (in the hot tub!) in the evenings would be heaven.

Ooh - hot tub!

DC1 and I would totally be up for some kayaking too, and pony rides.

I actually think it's hard to pick as there's so much on offer.

Somewhere with walks, DS woud happily plug in his mp3, and go off on a long walk. I'd do shorter walks combined with sitting outdoors and enjoying nature, as would DD. And some of the activities would be fun to do.

The hot tubs would be fun, sat there at the end of the day, chatting about what we'd done and would like to do.

Actually, that's helped me decide that the best thing is that there are plenty of options to choose from, so you can set a budget and work with it.

We're an outdoorsy family, and love going forest walks and just sitting out in woodland while the kids explore. I was in hospital with sepsis in January and remember looking out my hospital room window wishing only to be able to touch the grass that was in the garden between wards. Being seriously ill made me realise how life is actually the green around us, and the contact with life in all its forms. These cabins look utterly gorgeous, and the surroundings, healing for our troubled modern minds.

For me it’s being able to sit on the veranda (or in the hot tub) with the forest all around you.

We would love just to have a run around in the forest and then relax on the decking in the hot tub once the children are asleep. It looks like an amazing holiday,

Hot tub in the forest after a long day exploring / walking the local area - bliss.

So many things but overall just being able to have a break from everything at home for some quality outdoors time - cycling, climbing trees, forest walks and back to the hot tub ... perfect.

We've actually stayed in a Forest Holidays cabin and it was pure luxury. The hot tub was a highlight, but actually my favourite part was the seclusion - no WiFi or phone signal!

My DS is mad for birds and has infected all the rest of us with his obsession, so anywhere secluded with a big window to watch wildlife would be fantastic.
