Park Dean camber sands?

Can I ask for opinions on Park Dean resort camber sands? We haven't done this type of holiday before, is there a similar, more highly recommended resort in the Sussex Kent area?

Camber sand is a windy, filthy beach where people staying at pontoons leave glass beer bottles. I live a uk beach holiday but would never go back to camber sands even for the day.

Oh dear! I thought the beach was meant to be stunning! Do you have another recommendation?

Camber is a huge beach , one end is dog friendly , it’s not somewhere I would go with young children as the rip tides are dangerous.

We went to camber sands about 6 yrs ago. Beach was lovely but on the very first day we took our dog for a walk and she was attacked by another dog with owners who were less than friendly themselves. Not a wonderful start.

We were there a few weekends ago. It's recently had a big refurb and we thought it was great. The staff were all really friendly and enthusiastic.
My children really enjoyed the shows and we would be happy to go back again.
Our own gripe was that the pool was a bit too cold but it was absolutely freezing cold weather outside which may have caused it to not warm up as well. The caravan was very nice and lovely and warm though.
I liked the beach. We were only on it about half and hour as it was so cold but it was very pretty.
We enjoyed going aroubd Rye and Bodium castle which are both nearby.
