Ideas for a short break in May with toddler, England?

Hi, looking for ideas for a two or three night break in May, staying in UK or short flight away.
Myself, DH and DD who will be 22 months. Ideally would involve parks, countryside but fairly close to civilization/ good shopping. Possibly somewhere with toddler theme parks/ aquarium/ safari park. She’s into diggers, tractors and animals too.

Is there anywhere nice you have stayed with these things within an hours driving distance? Preferably not Scotland or south of England. Sorry I realise I’m asking a lot here.

New forest? You could visit Paulton's Park (for Peppa Pig World) and have countryside etc nearby.

We also went to the Cotswolds when DD was a year old. She loved Birdland, and there's plenty of countryside, pretty villages, nice restaurants. We rented a little house in Stow on the Wold so we could walk to pubs and a few shops.

The area around Milton Keynes would be perfect for you.
Woburn safari park - besides the drive-round safari loop and walk-through exhibits, there's a Tiny Tots Safari Trail too and some great play areas.
Woburn Abbey - lovely gardens with Japanese area, maze, aviary, camelia house etc... there's even a children's garden.
Gulliver's Land - a theme park built for little ones.
Gulliver's Dinosaur and Farm Park
Leighton Buzzard Railway - miniature steam train ride
HULA animal rescue centre - lots of animals to pet!
Emberton Country Park - three brilliant children's areas including pirate ship, sand pit and even diggers to sit on!
