Can anyone please recommend where to look for accommodation to stay when we go to the World Athletics Champs in August. They are being held in the Olympic Park in Stratford which is an area we don't really know.
We have tickets for the evening sessions so won't want to travel too far as we will have our 8 and 11 year old with us. Before we have stayed on the Southbank before but maybe better to be somewhere else this time.
We're going too and I spent ages looking nearby for somewhere to stay - in the end we booked a family room at the Youth Hostel in St Paul's. There's a 25% flash sale on the YHA website. There are quite a few youth hostels in London but not many had availability on our dates.
We're going and I booked an airbnb for 6 of us near the Cutty Sark. Booked several months ago though, so no idea what availability is like now
Didn't see your replies till just now. St Paul's youth hostel is full. Cutty Sark sounds good though. Seen a few in Canary Wharf that look ok. Will look at Greenwich tomorrow am
