Celebrating Wedding Anniversary with DC

DH and I have a big wedding anniversary coming up in the autumn. Obviously we'd like to go away somewhere fabulous as just us but we don't have anyone we can ask to have our DC overnight. The friends who would take them have newborns so it doesn't seem fair to ask.

If we want to go away somewhere to celebrate we will be taking DCs 5 and 3 with us.

Can anyone recommend a really nice family friendly hotel / location. A pool would be a great addition. We'd be looking to go in the October half term I guess.

Calcot Manor is family friendly and has a good size pool, larger than most hotels.

I've done one night in one of these hotels and couldn't recommend it enough although pricy it was fabulous and if it's a treat occasion its worth pushing the boat out www.luxuryfamilyhotels.co.uk
