Quickest and best way to get to Tower of London from Waterloo station by river?

Have a packed day planned friday with the dds and would love to do a river cruise but don't want to mess up timings!

Thanks

Thank you! Is it easy to walk from Waterloo to the London eye pier? How busy will it be at 10am ish?

Thames clipper site is a bit mad - you have to have a printed ticket but can only buy tickets on the day for the day?! Unless, of course, you buy a river roamer not just singles... hmmmm.

London Eye pier is just round the corner from Waterloo, and I would expect it to be fairly busy although a lot of the people around will be going on the Eye.

I don't know a lot about the ticket system, but the advance prices don't seem massively different from the turn up & go prices so that might be your easiest option?

You can just pay with contactless on the Thames Clippers (Oyster or credit/debit card) so no need to queue at the ticket office or faff around with advance tickets. The boats are every 15-20 minutes generally and at peak times I'd say about 70% of the queue boards the first departure.

Waterloo to London Eye is easy, you can't really miss it! Grin

Just look for the big ferris wheel?! Sorry, going with two little ones (well, 4 and 5) so a bit eager that everything goes smoothly. I did the tickets on their app in the end!

Thanks everyone!
