Short break in Leeds?

We're thinking of having a short break in Leeds soon. I'd love some recommendations for hotels / museums and other things to do. Ideally we'll take a train to get there so all city centered places would be perfect. Unless there's somewhere we can reach easily on a train or bus.

Oh and if you know a hotel that has inter-connecting rooms (there's five of us), all the better.

Roundhay Park is a bus ride from the centre but definately worth a visit. There's a Lakeside Cafe for lunch and Tropical World is brilliant for young children.

The Royal Armouries museum is also worth looking into - it's in the centre so easy to get to. There's also Leeds City Museum and the Art gallery both in the centre.

If you fancy the cinema, there is an Everyman in the Trinity Centre, or a Vue in the Light.

We just stayed in the Raddisson Blu with our daughter. It was a great hotel with a Very good breakfast.
Very Central and friendly.
we had a huge room with 3 beds in it.

The Victorian arcades are beautiful. The corn exchange and the market are lovely buildings as well. Then there is the art gallery, Henry Moore institute, and a short bus ride away Kirkstall Abbey and the Abbey House museum. Leeds industrial museum is interesting, but my absolute favourite is the Thackray medical museum, which is next to St James's hospital, and is a bus ride away.

Plus everything thing that has already been mentioned. There is a lot to see and do in Leeds.
