legoland hotel question

I'm considering doing a legoland "splash and stay" break where you have a bargain night in legoland hotel because the park is closed the next day. (Its open on the day we arrive though, DDs birthday)

It says you can check in and check your bags in at any time (rooms from 3pm, fine)

What i want to know is if we arrived at 9.15am, and parked in the hotel carpark, as we would, can we check in etc then go into the park early (9.30am) like the hotel guests who have stayed the previous night?
