We are big fans of Wales and the availability of big, uncrowded beaches (even in August) and the good prices. However, trying to branch out a bit and considering Lincolnshire. We have a dog so beaches have to accommodate her, and activities other than the beach where she can come too are always a bit of a premium. I understand Theddlethorpe beach is good for dogs and that there are a number of smaller beaches between Skeg and Mablethorpe. Are there enough things to do if it rains all week? I know there are the cultural attractions of Lincoln and 3 NT places. We will have an 8 year old with us so something fun would be good too.
