Do any one haveing problem getting passport from duram need help how to it back try 0300 number no reply after 48 hr made a complaint no reply need it bk by monday can't believe how selfish duram customer services is not a care in they body they know ive been trying all week .
I can't sleep or eat sick with worrie all I want to do is upgrade it or drive dowm and pick it up they not given me a choice pls any help be greatfull

When did you send it?

Did you use 'check and send' at the Post Office?

Hi I send it 22nd check and send at p.o they told me two week I normally get it back in a week never know they send them to duram.
ive been ringing all week they say I get a call back nevergot so I rang lasnight at 7 pm and made log an ccomplaint and my mp is trying to help can't believe this is happening to me got till monday to either cancel holiday . Can't believe how stressful this all is ..

So it's exactly two weeks today that you sent it. It might come today.

I don't think it's got anything to do with where it was sent. It has to be sent to one of the passport offices. It's got to do with how busy they are.

I did mine in January and I got it back in exactly seven days. Nearer the summer it will take longer as they are busier.

You need to find out what has happened.ring them again. Ask them if it has been processed.

Where do you live? You can go to a passport office and get an appointment and get a passport the same day.

But you need to find out about this application first.

^^Upgrading a standard application
You may be able to upgrade your application to use the Premium service if you’ve already applied to renew your passport by post or through the Check & Send service.

Upgrades are usually only available in special circumstances - for example, you’ve had to change your travel plans at short notice.

Call the Passport Adviceline with the barcode number of your application. This was on your application form, or on your receipt if you used Check & Send.

The Passport Adviceline will tell you if you can upgrade - the service isn’t always available during Her Majesty’s Passport Office’s busy periods.^^

I send a passport application off (renewal) on the 14th, with post office check and send. It arrived back this Wednesday, so took 16 days.

I was told on the 14th that they were currently taking an average of 3 weeks.
