Any recommendations? Thinking Dorset/Cotswolds/Sussex downs/New Forest but as DS has now flown the nest would prefer somewhere without small children if possible.

Food v important, pref. Michelin level.

Thanks in advance!

South Lodge, Horsham. Very nice tasting menu evening there. Didn't stay overnight but looks great.

I would love to go to Babington House. Not sure if it is Michelin starred or not though. But it looks so luxurious.

Another vote for South Lodge. Stayed there recently for a significant birthday. Couldn't get into the Michelin starred restaurant so ate in the other restaurant - it's run by the winner of Professional Masterchef - and was very impressed. Room was a junior suite and was very luxurious with a huge bathroom and wet room.

DH and I always book long weekends off work every 6 weeks so I still have quite a lot of places to find! (thinking Seville in May, Ireland in June, Venice in October.......)

We had a weekend at Barnsley House last month which was divine.
