Legoland solo with two kids?

Husband is working all summer but me and the kids want to go to Legoland Windsor. Fancied going down for three daysish towards the end of August. I'm o.k. for hotels but I'm a little unsure about going to Legoland with the two kids by myself. They will be nearly 7 and nearly 5, both over 100cm. Is this doable or will thr rides pose massive problems?

I live about 15 minutes from Legoland and had an annual pass that I used a lot whilst on maternity leave.

Don't worry about getting on rides with 2 kids if they both need to be accompanied by an adult. It is a very common scenario and the ride staff will let you 'park' one of the kids at the front of the queue (there are even chairs there for that very purpose) while you go on with one child and then swap over. The bonus is that you get to go on twice! I used to go with DS (then 4) and a friend with a DD of the same age. One of us would look after both babies, while the other would take both the kids on the ride.

One warning - queues are absolutely hideous in school holidays. Whilst it may seem expensive, Q-bots are a very good idea!

I used to go on my own with my children (11, 5 and 4 at the time). Totally doable. :)

I have done it several times on my own with the DCs, it's absolutely fine. And in fact easier on my own than with DP moaning about the queues!

I've done it solo with two children, no problem. Might be more fun if you could see if another friend with similar age children might like to go too?

If you go, please invest in the Q bots. Legoland has shocking queues, way worse than those at Disney in Oct Half term. LL seemed to have no limits on the number of people they let through the gate, and the site is actually tiny. Without the Q bots I would have left after the first ride.

There are quiet areas where the kids can build Lego sets that the staff hand out. Good for taking a breather.

The Duplo wet play area is stupidly small and total chaos. Get there early or late IMO.
