We went in the summer a few years back. The lodge was nice, modern and clean. The site itself was well kept and had a shop, restaurant, bar etc.

The one thing I do remember is the swimming. They had a bizarre system for reserving a swimming slot an hour in advance and you had to buy a padlock for the changing room lockers. The changing rooms were dirty too.

Other than that, nice holiday and lovely walks pubs nearby etc.

We went for a long weekend. Had a great time. 3 adults 3 kids. The lodge was clean and had all we needed. Really good location in the park, a group of about 10 lodges in an oval with grass in the middle. Our kids played with others staying in the oval.

The shop is expensive and doesn't gave a lot of choice, I did a click and collect order from the nearby Waitrose.

We planned on going to evening entertainment, but instead had a BBQ, we used the takeaway rather than eating in the restaurant, but did have a pizza lunch. The kids enjoyed the activities, they went on the inflatable in the pool.

We would definitely go again.

When we went it was dirty - especially the pool, dear God. The restaurants are really really expensive.

is the entertainment included in the price?

I assume kids activities you need to book?
