We are travelling to Devon/Cornwall this year and I don't have any AA cover, thinking we ought to get some kind of cover what not sure what level.

what level do you have?

Always have relay home, because when you need it, it is worth every penny.

Auto aid. Much cheaper. But you need to pay and claim back-

Everything except Europe cover.
It was an offer at the time and not much more. Next year I will downgrade to homestart and relay I suspect.

Earlier this year we had a roadtrip to North Scotland planned. 16 days long from the south of England and with most overnight stop hotels pre-booked. I was glad to have the onward travel included for that but not sure I would bother every year.

autoaid is fab, so long as you can afford to either pay upfront or by credit card, as you pay then claim back
