Recommendations for cottage in Padstow

Needs to sleep DH and I plus ideally a separate room for our one year old to sleep in. So a double room plus a single room would be ideal, we can just bring our own travel cot. Otherwise it seems we are looking at paying for a place to sleep 4 which racks the cost up.

Would love to be in or near Padstow but fairly flexible so long as the cottage is nice and there's somewhere to leave the car. Ideally we'd like to stay two nights - Friday and Saturday - in June.

Does anyone have any suggestions that might fit the bill? Smile

I don't think that you will get just 2 nights in June- they won't want to spoil a week's rental and a lot will be fully booked.

You might find one at last minute, if they are not going to get anyone for the week, but it will be a question of using the search engine to find one that would- rather than having a wide range of choice.

agree with exotic. you might be better off with a small hotel or family friendly b and b. have a look at babyfriendlyboltholes website and also the cornwall tourist board one as these have all been inspected and should be OK. have a look also at lastminute-cottages website for late bookings but as exotic says no one is going to give you 2 nights cutting across two week long bookings unless they are empty and then you have to ask why. good luck.

If it is last minute try //www.latelettings.co.uk I'm sure they will have something near Padstow but I totally fell in love with this place near Truro

As other posters have said it is quite hard to get short breaks between May -September

Don't know if you are still looking. We have used //www.cornishhorizons.co.uk for about the last 8 or 9 years and always been really pleased. Looks like they may still have some availability for late June, including some with short breaks. If you wanted to stay in Padstow itself, it's worth considering where you are going to park. A lot of properties near the harbour area don't have any parking (and if they do, Padstow is a pain to drive through if it's busy).
