Ps assume you meant sockets not plugs? wink

I think they do in standard class.

I go on East Coast trains occasionally and find that quite often it doesn't cost that much more to go first class (where there are sockets for recharging)

yes they do, normal plugs & wifi
not at every seat but a number of them, standard class too

thanks - yes, sockets blush - tickets booked in standard, and looking forward to first class in new year wink.

(Was panicking about 7h on train with 2 dc and laptops/ipads etc running out of charge!!!)

Yep they do, but not at all seats <echo>

But you can usually get access to one even if it is under someone else's feet.

Wifi you have to pay for now. You get 30 mins free, then you pay.

Thanks - not so concerned re wifi, much more concerned re the laptop running out of power mid-Tangled dvd!

Both trains I've been on today had sockets at our seats
