Hilton is connected to South Terminal. Sofitel to North. Think Yotel is in South Terminal but may have got that wrong.

Not stayed in any of them though!

I have stayed in both, they do family rooms, you can also take advantage and check in the night before.

Sofitel appear to say we can't have DD in the room with us, because she is 13 & therefore an adult

Hilton here we come (I guess)

We stayed in the Hilton pre our holiday in August - booked a family room for us plus DC aged 13, 10, 8 with no problem. We did it through HolidayExtras.com who offer various deals eg inclusive car parking, dinner etc. We were upgraded to connecting rooms which was great. Recommend getting the buffet inclusive if you are going to eat there as the restaurants and bars in the hotel are clearly set up for business travellers - ie very expensive.

We have a 3 hr drive on Christmas day to catch a 4am check-in

I wonder if I'd better to drive straight to the airport

& we get back at 3 am

I really stuffed up
