Please could teachers who tutor online explain how they got started? I've taught GCSE and A' Level English for many years and have done a fair bit of tutoring in the past. This was when my kids were little, and i'd drive round in the evenings visiting kids in their homes.
Now, though, I would rather use Skype or similar at home. I have a lot of resources and would be happy to plan lessons for a wide range of texts and different specs. But how did you find your students?
I'm willing to spend time setting up whatever I need to be able to tutor effectively online. Just not sure where to start. Any advice?
