Hi!

My DD is an absoloute bookworm, which i love Smile

Does anyone have any recommendations for any books/series of books that she would love?

My mind has gone blank and I cant remember what I used to enjoy as a child.

We have done most of the Julia Donaldson books.

I am thinking maybe Winnie the Witch?

Also any ideas on how to expand on her love of books? She doesn't really 'play' much so I am trying to get some bookish ideas to encourage her, maybe puppets?

Any suggestions welcome Smile

My 4 year old loves The Tiger who came to Tea,. Matilda, The BFG. Lately she's into facts as well so loves the Guinness world record books, likes to see the tallest/shortest person, animal facts etc. In terms of play she's all about pretend play so I often end up being Miss Honey from Matilda, and she is Matilda.

Enid Blyton is always a good read.
The fairy ones, the wishing chair and the wishing tree.

Supertato series seems to be loved by dd and her reception age school friends

She also really loves the you choose books

Other lovely and favourite books here are

The midnight zoo - such a beautifully illustrated book
And

The girl and the dinosaur

Some of dds friends like chapter books such as my naughty little sister and Enid blytons the faraway tree but dd isn't ready for those yet
