Hi All

I want to buy a wooden climbing frame with swings and have been a bit baffled by all the options out there. Does anyone have a product they would recommend? I have an 8 year old, 4 year old and 18 month old so keen to get something that is going to last!

Many thanks

Hi,

I think spent a couple of months looking at all the options last year!

We ended up going with a Blue Rabbit one which we got from here //www.gardentoystore.co.uk and couldn’t be more pleased with it. We had to switch some things around to make it work in the space but has been a huge hit with the kids and still looks just as good as when it was installed.

Be careful of some of the cheaper makes, I heard some bad reviews about Dunster house and another cheap one (can’t remember the name – sorry!) such a big purchase but I thought it worthwhile spending a bit more to make sure it was extra safe and will last a long time. We also went for an installation service so it was concreted in, we have been on some that start moving around when you get lots of kids using it, wanted to make sure we avoided that!

We got ours from Dunster house a few years back and have no problems with it. Its cemented in and gets lots of use from the kids and the many friends. Often at parties we have about 10 kids on it!
Still looks great and very sturdy.

We have just ordered an Action climbing frame but the company don't offer installation so just wondering what sort of person I should look for to get this built for me (husband isn't great at DIY!). Would you think a joiner or a an odd job man or even a general garden landscaper? No idea where to start!
