Hoping others might have posted here as we've just been given a couple for our 3yr old twin girls.. :)

So far I braced myself and have downloaded the Jake and the Neverland Pirates app (@ £20!!!!!! Angry - although luckily you can download it onto two Leappads for the same price..) and am going to wait a bit before buying any more. From first impressions you could spend a fortune on the apps. Confused

What do you think of it so far? Open verdict from us so far although my daughter is playing the Jake game this morning and absolutely loves it. Just not sure I'm that happy with them playing "computer games", albeit supposedly educational, at this young age...

ladymuckbeth: Me too I had my reservations for her playing at 3 with computers..... but then again, I saw her interest in my mobile (which I never let her use) and thought I just see how it goes.

She loves the painting application. I also bought the letter factory which she loves watching.

I am thinking of downloading the app about phonics and phonics flashcards. At least the might get familiar with the letter sounds as she is playing...

My nursery manager had bought one for her daughter a while back and she said it is very good, as long as you use the right apps.......

There are many apps which are just videos (and I do not let my DD watch tv except a couple of peppa pigs a day if she been good!). So I will stick to interactive apps which are also educational...

Still not sure on which ones to buy???

Anyone any ideas????

thanks...
