Hi,
If you're the same height and a UK clothes size 6, what do you weigh please?
I appreciate there will be a range of answers to hoping to get at least say 10-15 responses so as I can find an average.
Then I know roughly what I'm aiming for.
Thank you

You can put in weight and height here and it gives you photos of people
app.mybodygallery.com/#/

Is anorexia-chic trendy this season then?

Titchy
Your comment is needlessly unkind.

8 stone 4 and 5ft4 and I mostly wear a size 6

alittlepieceofme Sun 27-Oct-19 12:55:00

Wow, that would be tiny! At my smallest which would be a size 8 I need to be 8 1/2 stone. I'm 5ft 5.

I would never go below that weight! It doesn't look healthy!

titchy Sun 27-Oct-19 12:58:31

Aiming to be a size 6 at your height is incredibly stupid and suggests some disorder.

lubeybooby Sun 27-Oct-19 13:02:09

size 6 now is what size 8 was in the 90's. It's going to be perfectly healthy for most people at 5ft 5 - very slim yes but healthy

I am not that size anymore but when I was, I weighed about 8stone 8lbs

Sherloidbaisherloid Sun 27-Oct-19 13:02:57

5ft 6 and 8 stone 7. I am between a size 6-8. Some of the comments are unnecessarily mean. I am healthy, eat well and exercise regular and In I way look anorexic hmm

Sherloidbaisherloid Sun 27-Oct-19 13:03:32

In no way look anorexic that should say

ongranaryplease Sun 27-Oct-19 13:09:31

Like Sherloid I don’t look anorexic, in fact if I put a few pounds on and am heavier than this you can really tell and it just doesn’t suit my build at all

DownstairsMixUp Sun 27-Oct-19 13:18:54

The smallest weight you can be at 5'5 is 8 stone 10 isn't it? So some of these weights are an unhealthy BMI.

carrots555 Sun 27-Oct-19 13:29:09

As per NHS's tool..
Healthy weight range for your height:
7st 13lb - 10st 10lb

@ongranaryplease and @Sherloidbaisherloid

Would love to know an idea of your eating/ exercise regime if possible?

peachgreen Sun 27-Oct-19 13:43:01

Aiming to diet down to a size 6 is very different to maintaining a natural size 6 while eating and exercising moderately and sensibly.

milliefiori Sun 27-Oct-19 13:45:44

Probably around 8st4? When I was 8 st 4 (height 5'4") I was size 6-8

StormcloakNord Sun 27-Oct-19 13:48:33

That mybodygallery is ludicrous.

Put in my height and weight and every single person in the photo was a hell of a lot skinnier than I am!

ArtieFufkinPolymerRecords Sun 27-Oct-19 13:50:33

The smallest weight you can be at 5'5 is 8 stone 10 isn't it? So some of these weights are an unhealthy BMI.

Presumably you mean are advised to be, rather than can be? You're wrong anyway because you'd have to be under 8 stone to fall into the underweight category.

What are your measurements, OP (bust- waist - hips)?

orangeteal Sun 27-Oct-19 14:05:52

I never understand why people on these threads start giving their weight when they're not the height the OP asked for, 1 inch is quite a difference when talking weight!

DownstairsMixUp Sun 27-Oct-19 14:09:56

Really fair enough. I've been 8 stone 4 and was 5'5. Was a size 4 and looked like shit tbh. I'm a really small build to.

RockinHippy Sun 27-Oct-19 14:10:35

5'5" & when I was that size I was between 7,1/ & 8 stone
