Definitely eat it, it's a best before not a use by. It'll do you no harm.

What is the egg? That will determine my answer.

Currently consuming Christmas liqueur chocolates. Many many liqueur chocolates.

All from last Christmas. Would be an insult to the Easter bunny to throw out 😀

In a heartbeat...

AdaColeman Wed 11-Sep-19 21:15:23

I'd eat it as long as it hadn't developed that strange white bloom that old chocolate can get.

NotTonightJosepheen Wed 11-Sep-19 21:27:30

That white bloom is safe to eat too! smile

Yes I've often heard that it's safe, but it's not visually pleasing is it.

DramaAlpaca Wed 11-Sep-19 21:38:44

Of course it'll be fine.

I have a Easter egg lurking in a cupboard , there is no way it is getting thrown away .. . . . mmmmmmmm . . . . . . . dark chocolate. . . . .

Ate an Easter egg 2 years old once. Go for it

RoseMartha Wed 11-Sep-19 23:36:38

Ty all. No time tonight for chocolate, however could have done with some as kids were horrendous. All their puberty hormones raging at me I think. Will try tomorrow.

Rachelover60 Thu 12-Sep-19 01:10:57

Try it, it might still be fine.

Eat it in the dark or with your eyes shut, then, grin
