DH and I generally don't do Valentine's day. This year we have said we'll buy eachother a gift with a limit of £10 to spend.

I'm stumped! What would you buy your OH for £10?

My DH is easy because he loves sweets and chocolate! and Gin, but that is hard to get for £10

We're just doing cards this year plus a nice dinner with some fizz

Me and DP had decided not to do valentines this year, but he bought me 12 creme eggs today cos they were on offer for £6.
Or what about a couple of bottles of fancy beer? If he likes that sort of thing

Paying for my DP's world of warcraft subscription for one month seemed to sort him out.
Me on the other hand gets nothing hmm

Wait until after Valentine's, and you'll get more for your money

DP and I went through a phase of going to a discount bookshop with a £10 note and a 5 minute time limit each (to buy for the other person).

It got very competitive though! Then the bookshop closed down and we stopped doing it, but I often think we should do it again.

Bexley that's a good idea!

Dandelion that sounds like a lot of fun, I'd love that!

Thanks for the ideas everyone, keep them coming!

I got this for DH. It projects the time on the wall when you press the trigger.
He hates clocks that tick, can't see a small clock in the night without his glasses so I thought this would be perfect! £1.68 over budget though wink

My DH loves old trashy horror novels and films so I've got him a book called 'Satan loves you' and I've stuck a post it on saying 'and I do too' then a card, some chocolate and job done.

Sally how cool is that??!!

Kate that is really cute (in a strange sort of horror way grin)

Went for a mooch round good old home bargains earlier, nothing of interest!

I'm really chuffed Holly grin

Could you print off a voucher for pizza or takeaway to have tomorrow night?
