I've had tonsillitis a couple of times in the past few months as well as numerous colds, shingles and now some weird undiagnosed abdominal pain that I've been hospitalised for and discharged with no diagnosis.

I've had this white spot on my throat for a while now. It's got bigger. The numerous doctors I've seen have never commented on it. Is it something that lots of people just have?

Sorry for the gross picture of my mouth/throat.

Tonsil stone possibly? Have you ever asked the numerous doctors?

Tonsil stone.

You can remove yourself with a cotton bud. It will pop out.

siouxie yes and two different GPs just said it's not related to the tonsillitis.

westray that's Saturday morning fun sorted! Thanks.

Not directly related, but sometimes tonsilitis can leave little scar pockets in the tonsils ( called crypts spookily), food can then get trapped leading to a build up of tonsil stone material.

My DD has lots of crypts in her tonsils and is very prone to tonsil stones.

BEWARE OF THE STINK!!

Ughhhh they stink so bad. I get them when I'm run down and have a lot of throat infections. Once I got one the size of my fingernail!
