Which colour throw would you use?

For this sofa. It's white underneath so needs to be covered for mucky fingers of 3 & 7 year old boys!

Green one.

Am open to suggestions too!

The lighter more lime green one for me, it's fresher looking.

If you're open to suggestions I love the Moroccan throws . Colours are gorgeous and would really brighten up the room.

Aubergine coloured, it would look lovely against the cream walls and the plants.

Bluntness those are lovely!

WhatColourIsBest Sat 06-May-17 11:09:05

Bluntness they're just lovely! I need one slightly bigger than that or it doesn't quite cover it properly, which has been a problem with previous ones I've bought. It needs to be 260 x 360 or thereabouts, I'm not sure if losing that extra 60 would be a problem. I didn't notice the sofa had such deep arms which take all the throw but equally need to be covered with a house full of boys!

The reason I had looked at green was because the splash guard by the oven and tablecloth, oven gloves etc are green so wasn't sure if there's enough of any other colour down this end of the room to introduce a different colour

As seen here

I like Mexican blankets but the ones here from Amazon are much fuller than the ones I have from Mexico.

I agree that aubergine would look lovely. But I'm not a fan of 'zesty greens' anyway so possibly not the most helpful person!

Deux Sat 06-May-17 16:10:24

I think a mustard colour would be nice too <not helpful>

WhatColourIsBest Sun 07-May-17 07:58:39

I used an old aubergine throw - obviously it's far too small but it gives an idea. It's hard to make it a theme though as there nothing else aubergine in the room, so I would need to change the rug and sort pictures, this is becoming a complete change rather than just a throw!

Here's a view

Excuse the mess by the way! I've been out of action for a month and haven't caught up yet!

AnarchyKitty Sun 07-May-17 08:02:26

I think you should go with aubergine, then you will have to give me your amazing plant's as they won't colour coordinate anymore. wink

Hahahha nice try! Actually its my husband, he has such green fingers! He insists on reporting them immediately in a massive pot that dwarfs them, which pays off in the end. Plus he somehow gets the watering just right.

WhatColourIsBest Sun 07-May-17 08:55:21

In the end they get so big we have to pass them on and start over! You can have them then wink
