Maybe the weights room is the wrong place, but after moving short logs around the last few evenings (for MIL log burner) I would like to try out some strength training using the stuff I have to hand in the garden. I'm two hrs from the nearest gym so an actual weights room isn't going to happen.
I've kept some logs, I can pick them up to waist height and move them 10m - although I've not tried going any further or lifting them higher. (think they are around 20kgs)
Have loads of car tyres, wooden paletts and 10litre buckets.
1 large stone in the garden - think I can get my arms around it but I've not tried moving it yet.
I also have a few dumbells 2 x 10kg fixed weights, and 2 bars with loose discs 4x1.25kgs, and 4 x 2.5kgs.
Is there something I could google to get some ideas of plans?
I basically want to be stronger, I'm never going to be tonned and sleek I'm just not that sort of build.
thanks for any ideas.

The weights room
Does anyone not use conventional weights - I'm not sure where to start
