Boring I know! But after yet another bloody pair of boots has died (the inside material has come away and split) can someone recommend which yard boots might last more then 4 months!?
Dd is apprentice groom and v hard on boots. We've done dublin and HK (?) And a 2nd hand pairs of ariat and dubarry this year alone!! She's not the best at keeping them clean and oiled but they're properly done fortnightly.
I thought when she worked I'd get out of paying but on apprentice wage she can't keep up with keep replacing!!

Every pair of (new) ariats I've had have had the heel come away or the inside heel suppose bit bend down when putting them on so you can't comfortably wear them. At the moment I have a pair of very similar goretex yard style boots from, of all places, Clarks and so far they are the best I've ever had 😬

I've had them ages so won't be likely to be instore but there are plenty on eBay. Here's an example. Although I will say we all wear hiking boots on the yard - far more comfortable and sturdy. If she's too fashion conscious for that mountain horse are very long lasting. And woof wear are a cheaper alternative (but again often not so cool)
