Where can I ride on a beach?

Anyone know where I can ride on a beach Lincolnshire or Norfolk coast.
Not got own horse anymore so would have to be a riding school or similar.

Don't know about riding schools but we take our own horses to Holkham Beach in Norfolk - nr Hunstanton and it's really well organised with a special place to park lorries and it is flat and great..

Holkham Beach is wonderful - I have some lovely pictures from some years ago of DS riding his pony in the sea. As it was some distance from our house, we stayed in a B&B that had stabling. Happy memories

Thanks Greensand. That might work as we want to combine it with a night or two away and I have wanted to visit Whitby for ages!

I've ridden at Saltburn and it's pretty good, though the tide can really affect how wide a beach you have to ride on.

I've also ridden on a beach in Cumbria www.murthwaitegreen.co.uk with these people. Well organised, very quiet beach.

Have booked to ride at Saltburn. Really excited but a bit nervous too. It's 2 years since I last rode so am going to a local place to ride a couple of times beforehand. My friend hasn't ridden for 15 years so she's having a couple of lessons beforehand too.

Well we went for our beach ride last weekend. We had a fabulous ride. It was just how we wanted it to be. The riding school were so professional but friendle too. Once we got down to the beach we rode about 2 miles at a mix of canter and trot and then back again. The sun came out, the sky was blue, the tide was out. It was just perfect and i would recommend it to anyone. There were a lot of beginners, but they were on lead rein and when we reached the beach their group went the other way to do walk and trot. Really well run place.
