Muck Boots sizing esp Colt ryder and Reign

Tried this in S&B to no joy, so thought I'd consult those in the know.

OK, so I think Muck boots might be the answer. They say they fit wide calves - do they really, mine are 45cm? How big in the foot are they? I really don't want to have to wear thick socks, especially as these are neoprene. I am an E fit 8 in normal shoes but I have some Woodlands wellies in a 7 and they are huuuuugggee. Does anyone have the Colt ryder or Reign styles? How tall are they?
I do not need the boots for riding btw. I want neat fitting tall boots that will accommodate my calves.
