So i have ended up in a difficult situation with a small pony, I've had her two weeks and she needs specialist dental operations and a heck of a lot of time and patience to heal some past traumas - I don't want this to be my problem but, I can't sell her on to anyone knowing this, if i dump her back to the dealer she came from (who is not returning my calls) they will just sell her on without treating her, she's only 5 and I feel awful about her prospects.

Why did you buy her? Is she a companion? Do you intend to ride her?
Are/were you planning on keeping her long term?
Why don't you want it to be your problem? Is it the cost? time involved?

If you bought her, she's your problem. You have to get her mouth sorted. Horses like to spend our time and money for us.

Well its pretty simple really.

You can either afford the time and.financial commitment to try and get her right.

Or you can't. And if you can't then you can't. And then you have 2 options. Pts or try a rescue centre who are able to help her.

It really is as simple as that as harsh as that sounds.

Essexmummy could you tell us a bit more about her? What has the vet said? How is she behaving? Did you have her vetted when you bought her?
