why is my horse suddenly being nice to me?

hmm first he gives up snog resistance and lets me kiss him all over his muzzle as much as I want without trying to break my face, then he starts cantering towards me instead of jogging around the field laughing at me when I go to get him, and now when I turn him out he doesn't roll, find his friends, graze but falls asleep with his twenty stone head resting on me. hmm

Is he dying? He seems lively enough under saddle. Or is my great love for him finally requited? Or has he been up to no good? What does it mean?

He's having an affair. Leave the bastard.

Based on it being your horse, I'd say he is secretly plotting something awful. But make the most of it.

Its getting cold and windy and wet and he's finally realised he needs you? smile

I think he does want to come in, the contrary thing. He opened a stable door yesterday (and sprang away in terror when it swung towards him because he is not used to unbolting them from the outside) then kept looking in, longingly but also a bit nervously.

oh well it was lovely while it lasted but they both legged it today and it was a long and extremely humiliating ordeal to catch them both angry

N0tinmylife Tue 25-Sep-12 14:50:29

They don't have access to the internet do they??

SaggyOldClothCatPuss Tue 25-Sep-12 15:00:19

He's been reading 50 Shades Of Neigh - got himself a little bit on the side and he's probably knackered!

hmm envy wonder if it is a human or some other animal

Ah you said it didn't last - I was about to ask if you could possibly be pregnant! Animals often change their behaviour around their owners before they know they are pregnant. My friend's dog became very attentive and protective before she knew she was pregnant.

He's up to something... Don't turn your back for one second!

shock my minge did accidentally ingest a bit of sperm last week but 1. too soon to be pregnant 2. too old? 3. would actually kill myself a lot

SaggyOldClothCatPuss Wed 26-Sep-12 21:02:12

I'll take an unwanted baby off your hands! grin I'd love one!

This is so funny!!!!
Actually I'd love to give birth to a foal. Up and on its feet after 30 mins. No need for slings or buggies or cots. They don't cry. And after 3 years you can ride them and even use a whip if they are naughty. What's not to like?

Have you seen the size of even the smallest pony foal? You're talking at least cocker spaniel size! shock That would really smart!
