Business studies teacher

I've had long term thoughts of retraining as a teacher but life circumstances have delayed me moving this forward. I've got a law degree and another degree in financial management and hoped these would be sufficient to allow me to do the PGDE in business studies teaching (in Scotland). Will obviously be looking into this in a lot more detail but would love to hear thoughts on whether my earlier studies would be sufficient for entry to business studies teaching (I also have business and admin experience) and what life is like as a business studies teacher?

Most Business Studies teachers offer a second subject eg Economics.
Obviously you will be teaching KS4 and KS5. I have seen some schools put Business into a KS3 carousel along with DT etc

You will be expected to run Young Enterprise or something as extracurricular.

Business tends to be very popular and so classes are often full at KS4

Financial Management degree absolutely fine - so you think you could offer KS3 maths? As well
