I teach year 6 and we have used our current sex Ed resources for about 25 years. Unsurprisingly they are little dated and don’t really tackle more modern issues like same sex families.
Can I ask if anyone can recommend any resources that their school uses?

No suggestions, but we still have the channel 4 living and growing dvds with the girl band Cleopatra ... They do mention dame sex relationships but very briefly

New resources produced in Scotland can be found here //www.rshp.scot. May be of some use to you.

We use the Christopher Winter scheme, it's recommended by lots of LA's and not too expensive.

We use the Christopher Winter scheme too, from Year R- 6. Plus the living and growing dvds in Year 6. We were also wondering if there was anything more recent for Y6 to use.

I’m a pshe co ordinator. There’s new statutory guidance being introduced for Sex and relationships education in sept 2020 so there are lots of new schemes and resources about at the minute. Having said that, I’ve yet to find anything suitable to replace the Living and Growing video 😩.
