Boosting class morale!

My Y6 class are absolutely lovely (generally), but are starting to get weary of the constant cycle of mock SATS, weekly tests etc. Not much I can do about that unfortunately, but I would love some ideas on fun five-minute activities or rewards I could implement to to lift their spirits.

Any and all ideas welcome!

my ds's teacher would have 'themes' for each day, and would display them on the board when the dc walked in. so, Monday was 'make a shape monday', where he randomly yell out 'Make a shape' during the day and the kids would have to act like something beginning with M (eg monkey). last person to make the shape they would be out, but it kept the class alert as they were constantly listening for those words.
Tuesday was 'treat tuesday', he would ask a times table question to each child and they got a sweet when answered correctly
Wednesday was 'waltzing wednesday', where he would put on a just dance video for 2 or 3 mins and let the kids dance along.
Thursday was 'terrific thursday', he would have the kids play the game 'captains orders' for around 5 mins
and Friday was 'Fantastic Friday', he would randomly pick a dc to share a funny joke with the rest of the class

it made all the difference to my ds to have fun activities for each day and kept him excited for school

(forgot to add, the 'themes' and activities were the same each week so the kids knew what to expect)

@sleepismysuperpower1 thanks so much for the ideas! I tried a Boggle-a-thon today to win some stationery (the leftover highlighter pens I'll never use). Worked a treat! Am going to try shapes day on Monday - thanks again!

Kahoot! It motivates my cynical Y11s! They can also create their own which will help with revision of the skills they are preparing to be tested on.
