It is high time this issue was addressed. MFL teachers : will this be enough to persuade students back to your subjects or is it too little, too late?

It has given me hope. I cannot get my head round why French has been made so difficult for all these years. Who writes the exams? I’d love to have a word...

Long overdue first step, but we need to get rid of the foundation and higher tier, too.

I’m a parent of a year 11 who did once love MFL-unfortunately, years of incredibly poor teaching coupled with the level of content at GCSE has put a whole cohort off-literally no one is planning on doing A levels in a language. My DS who is yr 9 is the same. There are just few good teachers around here imo
