The best I can summon up about Damian Hinds is ‘meh’.

But Gavin Williamson was shit at defence wasn’t he? Telling Russia to ‘go away and shut up’, tractors with machine guns and leaking Huawei stuff.

What do you think he’ll do with education?

Wikipedia says his missus used to be a primary teacher AND he went to a state school so basically he’s overqualified.

I know very little about him, so I would appreciate someone filling me in please?

I read on wiki that he went to state schools and the university of Bradford, so I thought at least he’s not another grammar schooler or old Etonian, and not Oxbridge. And that his wife was a primary teacher, he might have more of a clue about the profession.
